Stonington High School Athletic Booster Club
The SHS Athletic Boosters want YOU to be a part of our team. We are an organization that supports ALL student athletes, and we hope that you will join us. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the Stonington High School community, make new friends and support your child.
By joining the SHS Athletic Boosters you support our student athletes with funds that they would otherwise not have available.
Our major sources of income are Membership Fees and the Concession Stand, where we sell food, beverages and Stonington Bear gear.

Stonington Bears Spirit at the Concession Stand
5 Volunteers = $300 for your Team
Our concession stand out at the turf field is the hub of Booster activity. There you will see our team of friendly volunteers selling food, drinks, candy and Stonington Bears gear at the home games. We open for home Football, Field Hockey, Soccer, Basketball (indoors) and Lacrosse games. Our proceeds benefit all sports at SHS, and any team that sends us 5 or more concession volunteers earns $300 in booster funding for their program. Volunteers do not have to be booster members
Our sign up is linked from the SHS website Athletics tab, and dates are added on a regular basis. Our only restriction is that when the grill is in use for Friday night home football games, all volunteers must be 18+. Any shifts designated as “no-grill” are available to students working to fulfill their required community service hours. There is always a Board member to show you the ropes and close up the stand at the end of your shift.
Senior Athletic Awards Banquet & Senior Breakfast
Each year, the Athletic Boosters also throw two important events for the graduating Seniors. The Athletic Awards Banquet and the Breakfast are held in the weeks leading up to graduation, and they are a wonderful way to honor the athletes we have cheered on for the four years from the stands and from the concession stand.
We meet the first Monday of every month at 6:00 pm in the SHS Café Commons. Please join us!
Please contact any SHS Athletic Boosters officer if you have any questions.
